Walking down the lone and empty streets I could hear my footsteps echo as I began my descent into a world no one could believe existed. I mean I lived through it and barely belive it myself. But I digress. As I was walking down the street, I heard this faint, almost inaudible sound coming from this building just up ahead. Of course my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to try to figure out what the noise was. As I approached the building I could feel my fear growing as my footsteps slowed to almost a complete stop. Again I heard the same noise, but this time it sounded more like moaning, thinking some one might be hurt, my steps seemed to pick up speed on their own. And as I came to the door of the building the noise grew even louder. I could make out a faint "help" so I burst through the door and found nothingness. It was so dark inside that I could barley see my hand directly in front in my face, but I still heard this voice

"Help me. Help me."

"Where are you." I asked. "Hello can hear me?"

Oddly enough, I heard no response, just the continuing cry for help. The cry was as steady as a heart beat now and as I walked further and further forward the darkness got darker, the voice grew increasingly louder and my feet continued to trudge forward even though I so desperately wanted to stop and turn around. I wanted to run away from this eerie place as fast as I could, but my humanity kept me going. Suddenly I heard the noise as if it was right in front of me.

"Help me. Help me."

I reached to the ground and began feeling all around. Searching the floor. All of a sudden I felt this cold object under my hand and as I brought it up to my face the voice grew. Closer and closer I finally started to see what I had in my hand. It seemed to be a tape recorder of some sort and a voice was now screaming at me

"Help me. Help me."

As I realized what was going on I dropped the recorder and began running back from where I came, but it was too late. I felt a strong hand grab my leg and as I fell, blood began to cascade down my face as my head slamed into the concrete below.
